Two-Stage State Machine: Discovery & Execution

Our marketplace enforces strict state transitions to guarantee legal certainty, pricing transparency, and operational clarity.

Phase 1: Load → Offer → Booking

Marketplace matching and rate agreement

1. Company Posts Load

Load published as OPEN with cargo specs, postcodes, and vehicle criteria. Company can withdraw load at this stage.

2. Providers Submit Offers

Offers entered in PENDING status with vehicle registration, driver details, and total price. Providers can withdraw pending offers.

3. Offer Accepted → Booking Created

Company accepts chosen offer. Offer locks as ACCEPTED and creates an official BOOKING. Accepted offer cannot be withdrawn.

Phase 2: Booking → Journey → POD

Operational execution and digital sign-off

1. Driver Starts Journey

Booking triggers active JOURNEY. Driver logs departure, pre-trip vehicle checks, and collection bay arrival.

2. In Transit & Live Milestones

Cargo loaded at pickup. Real-time corridor tracking updates ETA for shipper and receiver dispatchers.

3. Delivery & Digital Proof of Delivery

Driver captures signature on glass and cargo photos. System completes journey, generates tamper-evident POD PDF, and triggers invoice release.
